Brace yourself for impact!!!

I might not be posting for 1-2 weeks for the moment.

Earth hour

Yesterday (28-3-2009), it was earth hour from 8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

Some houses turned off their lights early but we turned it off at 8.30 p.m. sharp!

After turning off the lights, it was really dark. So we lit two candles. It was quite cool how the candle fire flickered in the light when there was wind blowing.

Woohooo! We’re playing with fire!

No, not really…

Although it was already 9.30 p.m., I still left the candles burning. I only blew them out at about 9.45 p.m.

So before I blew it out, I poured the hot wax onto the floor. When it cooled, I scraped off the wax and molded it into different shapes. In the end, I put string in the shapes made of wax. Ta daa!!! A recycled candle!

If the whole wolrd actually bothered to off their lights for one hour, think of all the electricity we could save!

Sports day selection

The previous post mentioned about my sports day selection, right?

Yeah, so on sports day selection (day 2), I wore super tight shoes to school.

That screwed me up.

Because of the super tight shoes, I couldn’t do well for long jump and high jump.

For long jump, I jumped 3.95metres. Is that good?

For high jump, I failed to jump over the string for the first two times but managed to pass the third time. So I got in. Then, the teacher kicked me out for no reason. Weird right?

Okay— Here I go again…

Sorry for not posting recently because I want to make use of my holidays to do fun stuff, so anyway…

Hmmm…

Oh. Today, it’s sports day selection in school so I was in for Long Jump, High Jump and Shot Putt. But there was only Shot Putt for me today. So… I’m asking you—In your own opinion—if throwing 5.1 metres is good, or bad?

Oh boy, I hope that I get selected…

Oh! I just thought of something so ignore the previous post.

Okay, so it’s not new and is actually late. So what? This was supposed to be posted at the start of the month.

During assembly, the teacher was talking and the microphone suddenly went *beep*! Everyone laughed, but they laughed becase everyone else laughed. But… I have a reason for laughing. In those radio shows,  when someone accidentally says a vulgarity, it goes *beep*, right?

So this is exactly the same thing.

Sorry I haven’t posted a lot since the start of this month but it’s my exams! It’s a really important one!(Actually, all exams are important…) Anyway, nothing’s new, just a bunch of new widgets and pictures.
