It’s A New Month!

1 05 2008

Ahhh. Time passes so quickly. five months have past already, starting from January first. Wow. If one year has only 365 days( or did I get it wrong?), and 52 weeks, 24 hours a day, 60 minutes an hour, 60 seconds a minute, 100 milliseconds a second(that’s counted as very fast), I don’t know how fast time flows. Anyway, I got to write on here! :)

Exam is next week…

Ohhh…… the stress, the rush of completing work within the deadline(although most people do not), this is hard to manage!

No!

I always look on the bright side. Once the examinations are over, I get to write on my blog more often! I’m starting to feel that computer games such as ‘Maple Story’ is getting boring. All you do is kill monsters, get money, buy stuff, etc.

So this post should fill you up after months of nothing new.

Thanks for reading.

p.s: leave a comment…

Sorry!

Hope you understand what it means. :)

Spot the errors!

Spot errors like spelling/punctuation mistakes and grammar errors.

Good Luck!

Once upon atime, in a land far far away, there lived a princes called Emie. One day, Emie visit the palace guard because she wanted to ask him about how he kept his armor so shiny.

To her horror, the palace guard telling her that she had no decorum and that she should go home straight away, take some lessons on etiquette, and try again another day.

Emie is very upset with the guard’s reaction. She went home and wrote in her dairy to complain about him.  “Dear diary,” she wrote.. “I dont like the palace guard. He make me very angry today. I hope that he will explod one day.”

The next day when Emie woke up, she heard a loud commotion around the drawbridge.

She put on a dress and rushed outisde.

“What is happening? What is happening?” she cried in a shrill voice.

“Look here! The guard going to explode!” said the King’s advisor, Lindy. Emie gape at the guard. He had turned into a huge baloon and was now floating across the moat, to a place far far away.

He floated and floated until he was a mere speck of shiny armor in the sky, when suddenly…

BOOM!

The guard exploded and bits and pieces of armor fell everywhere. As it fell, the steel armer turned into gold and the townspeople were happy (or so they thought; they experienced terrible inflation afterwords and the kingdom was in chaos).

The end.

This is not a story, it is my true experience…

9 03 2008

Today, 9-3-2008, I found the boomerang I lost. It was from Australia and looked really cool. My father, mother and I decided to try out the awesome-looking object. There was a big field for people to jog, play and many more. We went there at about four fifteen(4.15p.m.) in the evening. We took a long walk towards the green field. As it had been raining around my place, the floor was muddy. We had to walk slowly too because of the thorns on the plants. We played with the boomerang and had lots of fun. One time, my father’s throw was so nice that the boomerang flew back to him and he managed to catch it! Another time, mine flew back but I did not manage to catch it.

Now here is what I experienced:

I threw my boomerang and it did not fly back. My father suggested the way I held it was wrong. Anyway, I went to pick the boomerang. As I approached the place where the boomerang landed, I felt something wrong. My foot was sinking! I was in a semi-quicksand patch! I shouted to my parents for help in panic. They said do not move around too much or I would sink faster as the soil would get looser. So I tried to calm down and walk slowly out of the semi-quicksand patch. After a long period of time, I came out alive. Lucky me! I ran for my life, thinking that the soil would come and chase me(although I knew it would not). I finally stopped running and reached my parents. I was safe! While I am now writing this post, thinking of that incident sent shivers down my spine.

So if you ever got into a situation like that, it is best to lie down, open your fingers and try to find a rock or something like that. If there isn’t any, try and float.

Hoo! I’m glad that’s over. :)
